First Southwest Bank – First Southwest Community Fund ‍

An innovative and effective partnership between a CDFI bank and a nonprofit loan fund. ‍

First Southwest Bank (FSWB) is one of only two Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) banks in Colorado and the only CDFI bank serving the Four Corners region. FSWB established the First Southwest Community Fund (FSWCF) as its nonprofit partner to help the underserved population in the area realize their small business dreams. 

FSWCF programs provide low-interest accessible loans, grants, and technical assistance to rural entrepreneurs who cannot access traditional financing. FSWCF’s close partnership with FSWB enables it to leverage sources and create unique capital stacks from both funding sources, giving business owners access to catalytic capital.
